Offline Installation

Login into Themeforest using user credentials.

Get a copy of Unicon Pro Bundle File.
-
Now Extract the bundle file you received. Inside you'll find the documentation files, licence files and a copy of Unicon Pro theme zip file.

Now,

Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
-
Click on Appearance > Themes > Add New.
-
Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the Unicon Pro zip file in your computer.

Click on Install button and then Activate the theme.

Installation via ftp/cpanel

Login into Themeforest using user credentials.

Extract the Unicon Pro theme zip files too.

Upload the unzipped file into /wp-content/themes/

Now, Activate the theme by going to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress Dashboard

Activate the Unicon Pro.
Updating Theme

Backup your existing Theme folder
-
Copy the files inside unicon-pro folder from the zip file of the latest version of Unicon Theme.

Enter the themes admin panel and save your options.
The Welcome Page comprises of the option for you install the plugins and import demos to your site.
Required Actions
The Required Action Section contains Plugins that needs to be installed for successfully configuring the site.
The Unicon Companion Plugin is a mandatory plugin. It provides the custom post types, shortcodes and extra options required for successfully configuring the site.
The WooCommerce plugin is required if you are looking for developing a Ecommerce websites. It too is recommended if you are looking for importing Classical or Slandard Demo as the demo is a woocommerce based.

Recommended Plugins
The Recommended Plugins section contains the set of pro and free plugins that is optional. The plugins are however available for you to install and use if you want to add the additional features to your site.

Import Demo
The Import demo tab contains a set of demos available for you to install for your site. The section displays the demo options only if you have installed the Instant Demo Importer plugin. If you haven't installed and activated the plugin the section will contain a notification for you to install and activate the plugin

The Import Demo comes in handy if you are looking for importing demo directly into your site without needing to create the site from the scratch. Later you may customizing by adding removing the site contents.

The theme provides the option to install the demo via just a click. Youll need to install and activate the Instant demo importer plugin for this. The plugin is bundled with the theme itself. Once the plugin is installed and activated follow these steps to install the demo:

Go to Dashboard > Apperance > Welcome.

Open Import Demo Tab.
-
You'll be notified to install Instant Demo Importer plugin if you havent installed it already.
-
Install and Activate the plugin.
-
Once installed you'll be provided with the option to install the demo.
-
Install any one demo from the available three demos for your site as per your requirement.

It will take few moments to install the demo.
-
Once installed, Customize the site as per your requirement.

A Preloader is an animating icon that is displayed prior to loading the whole site, hence preventing the scrambled site being displayed at upfront. To configure the preloader follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
- Under General Settings > Pre Loader Setting.
- Set check mark on Enable Pre Loader option.
- Choose a preloader icon from the available list of Preloader Icons option.
- Once Done, Save & Publish the changes.

The template color defines the color scheme for your entire site. To configure the template color for your site follow these steps:

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.

Under General Settings > Theme Color.
-
Set the template color for your site via Theme Color color picker option.
-
Once Done, Save & Publish the changes.

The theme provides the option to display either logo, Site tagline text or both in your site. To configure the Site Logo/Tagline for your site follow these steps:

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
-
Under General Settings > Site Identity.
-
Click on Select Logo button and select the logo from the media library.
-
If you wish to display the Tagline too for your site
-
Set the Site Title in Site Title textfield.
-
Set the Tagline subtitle text in Tagline textbox.
-
Check the Display Site Title and Tagline option if you wish to display both logo and Tagline text in your site.

If you haven't set the logo for your site and checked the Display Site Title and Tagline only Tagline text will be displayed in your site.

Similary set the favicon for your site by clicking on Select Image button under Site Icon option.

Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

The theme provides the option to display the full page header banner in your featured Home Page in your site. To configure the main header banner for the site follow these steps:
Configure Home Banner

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
-
Under Header Settings > Main Header Banner Settings.
-
Select Banner option from Display Banner / Slider dropdown list.
-
Click on Add new image button under Current header option and select the header banner image from the media library.
-
Set the banner title for the banner section under Banner Title textfield.
-
Set the banner title Font Size.
-
Set the banner title Text Color.
-
Set the banner descriptin text for the banner section under Banner Description textarea field.
-
Set the banner description Font Size.
-
Set the banner description Text Color.
-
Set the label for the primary button under Primary Button Label textfield.
-
Set the link for the primary button under Primary Button Link textfield.
-
Set the label for the secondary button under Secondary Button Label textfield.
-
Set the link for the secondary button under Secondary Button Link textfield.

Set the bottom padding for the Home Banner section under Section Bottom Padding option. The padding option provides best result when used with the seperator.

If you wish to have a slanted separator below the banner section set the Seperator to display at the bottom from Add Seperator at dropdown option else set the option to Nowhere.

Once set, Choose the separator color. The separator color should match with following sections background color for the best result.

Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

Configure Revolution Slider
Make sure you have successfully installed and activated the Revolution Slider Plugin. Once You've installed Revolution slider Create and configure the Revolution slider for the site. If you are new to revolution slider you may find a detailed documentation on creating revolution slider Here. On creating the revolution slider you'll be provided a shortcode for this very slider. The slider shortcode looks something like this [rev_slider alias="slider"]. Copy this very shortcode and follow these steps:

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.

Under Header Settings > Main Header Banner Settings.
-
Select Slider option from Display Banner / Slider dropdown list.
-
On selecting Slider option Revolution Slider Shortcode textfield option will be made available to you.
-
Paste the shortcode that you copied earlier in this textfield.
-
Once Done, Save & Publish the changes.
The theme provides the option to display banner for the inner pages (all the pages except for home page). To ocnfigure the banner for the inner pages follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
- Under Header Settings > Inner Banner Settings.
- Click on Select Image under Upload Banner Image option and select the banner image from the media library.
- Set the color Banner Title text under Banner Title Color option.
- Enable the Enable/Disable Overlay option if you wish to have overlay over banner image else disable the option.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

Creating Home Page
- Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
- Enter the title for the home page.
- Under Template dropdown list select Front Page option.
- Publish/Update the page.
- Now to display the home page at front.
- Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
- Set the Front Page to display the static page and choose the page created using the Front Page template.
- Save the settings.

1) About Section
Creating About Page.
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Pages > Add New.
- Enter the title for the page.
- Add the contents for about page.
- Set the featured image for the about page.
- Publish/Update the page.

Create About Category
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Categories.
- Enter the title for the about category.
- Click on Add New Category button.

Create About Posts.
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
- Enter the title for the post to display under about section.
- Add the contents for the post.
- Set the category for the post (one you've created for the about section.
- Set the featured image for the post.
- Publish/Update the post.

Configure About Section
- Go to Dashboard > Apperance > Customize.
- Under HomePage Settings > About Section.
- Enable the section if you wish to display the section in home page else Disable the section.
- Set the Section title under Main Title textfield.
- Set the Sub title under Sub Title textfield.
- Select the page (one you've created for the about section) under Select About Section Page dropdown list.
- Select the Category for about section (one you've created for the about section).
- Set the background color for the about section under Select About Background Color color picker option.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the about section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

2) Services Section
Creating Service Page
- Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
- Enter the title for the service page.
- Add the contents for the service page.
- Publish/Update the service page.

Configure Service Section
The theme provides two layouts for the Service Section. To configure the service section follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Services Section.
- Enable the section to display it in the home page else set it to Disable.
- Choose the Layout One or Layout Two as per your requirement.
- Choosing the Layout Two will give the additional textfield for the Description Text.
- Now, Set the Main Title for the Service Section.
- Set the Sub Title for the Service Section.
- Set the Section Description text for the Service Section(available for layout 2 only).
- Set the background image for the section by clicking on Select Image button under Section Background Image option.
- The section provides the option to display total of Six Services. Configure the services by Setting the service icon and page for each service.
- Set the background color for the service section. (However Background image overrides the background color.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the service section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

3) Success Graph Section
Creating Success Graph Page
- Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
- Enter the title for the Success Graph Page.
- Add the contents for the Success Graph Page.
- Publish/Update the page.

Configure Success Graph Section
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Success Graph Section.
- Enable the section to display it in the home page else set it to Disable.
- Set the Main Title text for the Success Graph Section.
- Set th e Sub Title text for the Success Graph Section.
- Select the Success Graph Page you created earlier under dropdown option.
- You have the option to display success rate in bar graph for 8 consecutive years. Enter the success rate in the Yearly Success Rate textfield and the respective year value in In Year textfield.
- Now, Set the background color for the section by choosing the color from Section Background Color color picker option.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Success Graph Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

4) Counter Section
The Counter Section allows you to display total of 4 counters in home page. To configure the counter section follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Counter Section.
- Enable the section if you wish to display the Counter Section in home page else Disable the section.
- Select any one layout for the Counter Section.
- Now configure the counters by setting the Counter Title, Counter Value and Counter Icon For 4 Counters.
- Enter the Title for the Counter Section
- Set the Section Background Image if you want to display a image as a section background.
- Set the Section Background Color if you want to display a custom colored background for the counter section.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Counter Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

5) Our Team Member Section
Create Team Member Post.
Make Sure You've Installed and Activated the Unicon Companion Plugin. The Custom Post Type for Team won't be displayed until the plugin is installed and activated. Once the plugin is installed.
- Go to Dashboard > Team > Add New.
- Enter the name for the team member in the Title field..
- Add the contents about the team member in Content field.
- Set the team members image by clicking on Set member image link and selecting the image for the member from the media library.
- Set the Designation and Social Links for the Team Member.
- Once Done Publish/Update the member post.

Configure Team Section.
The theme provides two layouts for the team section. Use any one that suits the best for you. To configure the team section follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Our Team Member Section.
- Enable the section if you wish to display the Team Section in home page else Disable the section.
- Select any one layout for the Team Section.
- Set the Main Title for the Team Section.
- Set the Sub Title for the Team Section (only displayed for layout one)
- Set the Description Text for the Team Section (only displayed for layout two)
- Set the Section Background Color if you want to display a section with a custom background color.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Team Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.

- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Our Video Section.
- Enable the section if you wish to display the Video Section in home page else Disable the section.
- Set the Main Title for the Video Section.
- Add a short description text at Very Short Video Description textarea field.
- Add a URL for the video from Youtube, Vimeo etc.. at Video URL textfield.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Video Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

7) Our Works Section
Creating Work Category
- Go to Dashboard > Categories.
- Enter the Name for the category.
- Click on Add New Category button.

Creating Work Posts
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the Work Post.
- Add the Contents for the work post.
- Set the Feature Image for the work post.
- Select the Category you created earlier for the work posts.
- Publish/Update the post.

Configure Work Section
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Our Works Section.
- Enable the Section if you want to display the work section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Set the Main Title for the work section.
- Set the Sub Title for the work section.
- Select the Category for the Work Section from Work Section Category dropdown list.
- Set the Section Background Color if you want to have custom background color in work section.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Work Section.

Creating Testimonial Category
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Categories.
- Enter the Name for the testimonial category.
- Click on Add New Category Button.

Creating Testimony Post
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
- Enter the Name of a Client in Title field.
- Add the testimony of the client in Content field.
- Select the Testimonial Category from the Category option.
- Set the image of a client via Featured Image option by clicking in Set featured image option and selecting the image from the media library.
- Publish/Update the Testimony Post.

Configure Testimonial Section
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Testimonial Section.
- Enable the Section if you want to display the Testimonial Section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Set the Main Title for the Testimonial Section.
- Set the Sub Title for the Testimonial Section.
- Select the category for the testimonial from Testimonial Category dropdown list.
- Set the Background Color for the Testimonial Section.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Testimonial Section.

- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Review Section.
- Enable the Review Section if you wish to display the review section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Select any one layout from the available two layouts for the Review Section.
- Set the Main Title for the Review Section.
- Sect the Description Text for the Review Section.
- Click on Add Review Button to add a new Customer Review. On clicking Add Review button you will be provided with a option of option to configure Customer Image, Name, Designation and Review Content. Configure these fields.
- Add as many reviews as per your requirement.
- Set the Background Color for the Review Section.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Review Section.

12) Our Blogs Section
The theme provides a uses a custom post type for displaying the blog posts. You need to install and activate the Unicon Companion Plugin for having the blog section. The plugin is bundled within the theme itself. Make Sure you've installed and activated the plugin.
Creating Blog Posts
- Go to Dashboard > Blog > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the blog post.
- Add the Contents for the blog post.
- Set the Featured Image for the blog post.
- Publish/Update the blog post.

Configure Blog Section
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Our Blog Section.
- Enable the Section if you wish to display the Blog section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Choose any one layout from the available two layouts for the Blog Section.
- Set the Main Title text for the Blog Section.
- Set the Sub Title text for the Blog Section.
- Set the Blog Section Description Text (available in layout two only).
- Set the Number of posts to display in the Blog Section.
- Set the blog section background color.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Blog Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

13) Our Feature Section
Creating Feature Post
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the Feature.
- Add the Contents for the feature.
- Publish/Update the feature post.

Configure Feature Section
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Our Our Feature Section.
- Enable the Section if you wish to display the Feature section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Set the Main Title text for the Feature Section.
- Set the Sub Title text for the Feature Section.
- Set the Short Description Text for the Feature Section
- You have the option to display unlimited Features under Feature Section of the home page. To add the Features.
- Click on Add Features button under Manage Features Section option.
- On clicking the button you'll be provided with the option to select the icon for the feature and post. Select the Icon and Post for the feature.
- Add as many features as per your requirement.
- Set the Section Background Color if you want to have colorful background for the feature section.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Feature Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

14) Skill Section
The Skill Section is divided into two parts - Progress Bar Section & Skill Description Section. Follow these steps to configure the Skill Section:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
- Under Skill Section.
- Enable the Section if you wish to display the Skill Section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Configure Progress Bar Section.
- Set the Leftside Image by clicking on Select Image button and choosing the image from the media library.
- Set the Main Title for the Progress Section under Skill Section.
- Set the Sub Title text for the Progress Section under Skill Section.
- You have the option to configure four Progressbars.
- Set the Progress Bar Title and progress Value for all four progressbars.

- Configure the Skill Description Section.
- Set the Description Main Title Text.
- Set the Description Subtitle Text.
- Set the Description Content Text
- Set the Signature Image by clicking on Select Image button under Signature Image option.
- Set the Description Section's right side imgage by clicking on Select Image button under Right Side Imae option.

- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Skill Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.
15) Portfolio Section
You will need to create a main category for the portfolio and sub categories under that category to before configuring the portfolio section.
Creating Main Portfolio Category
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Categories.
- Enter the name for the Portfolio Category.
- Click on Add New Category.

Creating Sub Portfolio Categories
- Go to Dashboard > Post > Categories.
- Enter the name for the Category.
- Select the Main Category you created earlier as Parent Category.
- Click on Add New Category button.

Creating Portfolio Post.
- Go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the Portfolio Post.
- Add the Contents for the portfolio post.
- Select the category for the portfolio post.
- Set the Featured Image for the portfolio post.
- Publish/Update the portfolio post.

Configure Portfolio Section
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Our Portfolio Section.
- Enable the Section if you wish to display the Portfolio section in the home page else Disable the section.
- Choose any one layout from the available two layouts for the portfolio section.
- Set the Portfolio Section Title text.
- Set the Portfolio Section short Description text.
- Set the previously created Portfolio Main Category.
- Set the Section Background Color.
- Set the Top and Bottom padding for the Portfolio Section.
- If you are looking for having a slanted design for the section, then set the Add Seperator at option to top, bottom or both as per your requirement.
- Then choose the bottom and top seperator color for the section. Make sure the top seperator color matches the upper sections background color and the bottom separator's seperator color matches with the lower sections background color.
- Once done, Save & Publish the changes.

The theme provides the option to alter the position of the home page sections. You may Disable or change the order of the home page sections to display as per your requirement. To Change the order of the home page sections follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings.
- Under Section Re Order, You'll find the list of label with the name of every home section.
- Now, Drag and Drop the label with section names vertically Up and Down until you are satisfied with the modified order.
- Once Done, Save & Publish the changes.

The theme provides a template for the team page to display the team members informations. You'll need to have the Unicon Companion plugin installed and activated to configure the team page successfully. The plugin is bundled with the theme itself. Make sure you've successfully installed and activated the plugin.
Creating Team Page.
- Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the team page.
- Select the Team Page page template from Template dropdown list.
- Once Done, Publish/Update the page.

Creating Team Post
- Go to Dashboard > Teams > Add new.
- Enter the Team Member Name under the Title field.
- Enter the contents about the team member in Content field.
- Set the team member's image under Member Image option by clicking Set member image link and selecting the member image from the media library.
- Now Set the Designation for the team member under Team Member Details meta option in Member Designation textfield.
- Set the Social links of the member under Facebook Link, Google Plus Links etc.. as per your requirement.
- Only Social links set will be displayed in the team members page.
- Once done, Publish/Update the team member post.

Creating Blog Page
- Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the blog page.
- Select the Blog Page page template from Template dropdown list.
- Once Done, Publish/Update the page.

Creating Blog Posts
- Go to Dashboard > Blog > Add New.
- Enter the Title for the blog post under the Title field.
- Add the blog post content under Content area.
- Set the Featured Image for the blog post.
- Once Done, Publish/Update the post.
